A century ago, on 26 October 1923, the Regional Cancer Centre was born in Montpellier within the suburban public hospital. The history of our Centre, which became the Montpellier Cancer Institute (ICM), is a unique story shaped by dedicated men and women, made up of hopes and victories. Today, we are an internationally recognised centre, a key player in patient care, research, training and prevention in cancerology.

Throughout 2023, we will celebrate this centenary with an exceptional programme of events based on sport, art, culture and science. On 6 and 7 July 2023, at the Corum in Montpellier, we will bring together international scientists for a medical-scientific symposium on innovation in oncology, focusing on the tumour microenvironment and therapeutic innovations.
