BRC of ICM
The Biological Resource Centre of the Montpellier Cancer Institute (BRC-ICM) masters the technologies necessary for the reception, preparation, packaging, availability and conservation of biological resources in compliance with quality and safety standards and bioethics rules for biobanks
The BRC-ICM has been certified according to the French quality standard NFS 96-900 since 2014 and aims to be certified according to the international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 20387 in 2023.
It provides access to specific, high-quality biological material from clinically well-defined cohorts of patients, with an efficient link between the bioresources and the associated clinical data for the benefit of academic and/or industrial research.

The Biological Resources Centre of Montpellier University Hospital is available to researchers to build up biological collections, provide services and make samples available for research purposes. The BRC manages biological samples, from collection to transfer. It masters the technologies needed to receive, prepare, package, make available and preserve samples.
