A day of strategic discussions with our Scientific Advisory Board – April 9

On April 9, we had the pleasure of welcoming our International Scientific Advisory Board to the Montpellier Cancer Research Institute.

This Board is made up of internationally renowned experts in the main research areas of the SIRIC Montpellier Cancer:

  • Prof. Vickie Baracos – University of Alberta

  • Prof. Marie Johnston – University of Aberdeen

  • Dr Andrada Ianus – King’s College London

  • Prof. Kevin Prise – Queen’s University Belfast

  • Prof. Christian Frezza – Universität zu Köln

Throughout the day, researchers from SIRIC Montpellier Cancer presented their work. The Board offered valuable recommendations to help shape the future scientific strategies of our research programs

A day to showcase translational research – April 10

The following day, April 10, SIRIC hosted its Annual Cancer & Innovation Day.
This event brought together international experts and researchers involved in the SIRIC Montpellier Cancer programs.

It was a day full of engaging discussions, featuring scientific presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, all aimed at highlighting recent advances and strengthening collaboration in the fight against cancer.
