Introduction
This call for projects, jointly organized by SIRIC Montpellier Cancer and Nîmes University Hospital (CHU), aims to promote collaborative research projects between the two sites. These projects should address translational research challenges and align with one of SIRIC Montpellier Cancer’s three main research axes.
With a budget of €100,000, the initiative aims to support emerging projects or strengthen existing collaborations.
Results
Nîmes University Hospital and SIRIC Montpellier Cancer are pleased to announce the three winning projects:
- PRIORITY Programme: “Development of an MRI radiomic model to predict response to concurrent chemoradiotherapy in locally advanced cervical cancer” by Prof. Stéphanie Nougaret, head of PINKcc Lab at IRCM, and Dr. Frédéric Fiteni, medical oncologist at Nîmes University Hospital.
- ENERGY Programme: “Analysis of metabolic signatures in sebaceous tumors related to tumor malignancy and the mismatch repair system” by Matthieu Lacroix, researcher at IRCM, and Dr. Eric Frouin, anatomic cytopathologist at Nîmes University Hospital.
- ENERGY Programme: “Role of ATF3 in the metabolism/antitumor immunity dialogue” by Céline Gongora, researcher at IRCM, and Prof. Nadine Houédé, medical oncologist at Nîmes University Hospital.
