SIRIC Montpellier Cancer \u2013 Results"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-rte  mb-4 md:mb-8  bg-white p-3 md:p-6\">\n                        <div class=\"flex flex-col md:flex-row flex-wrap gap-2 md:gap-3 lg:gap-8\">\n          <div class=\"w-full\">\n            <div class=\"max-w-none prose \"><h3><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gefluc-occitanie.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GEFLUC Occitanie<\/a> allocates a portion of donations from corporate sponsors each year to support cancer research.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>GEFLUC Occitanie<\/strong> stands out by prioritizing research grants for young researchers in the Occitanie region who present innovative ideas<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In 2024, the objective of the call for projects (AAP) is to support research projects with a <strong>total budget of \u20ac60,000<\/strong>, aligning with one of the three main research axes of <strong>SIRIC Montpellier Cancer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Evaluation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>At the end of the application period, the submitted projects were assessed based on the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Scientific and technological quality<\/li>\n<li>Innovation and development<\/li>\n<li>Methodology and feasibility<\/li>\n<li>Alignment with one of the research themes of SIRIC Montpellier Cancer<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Results<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>GEFLUC Occitanie<\/strong> and <strong>SIRIC Montpellier Cancer<\/strong> are delighted to reward three winning projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>PRIORITY Programme<\/strong>: <strong><em>&#8220;Feasibility study of cumulative dosimetry on lesions and organs at risk after treatment with external and internal radiotherapy&#8221;<\/em> <\/strong>by<strong> Lore Santoro<\/strong>, Institut du Cancer de Montpellier (ICM)<\/li>\n<li><strong>PANACEA Axis<\/strong>: <strong><em>&#8220;A monocentric study evaluating adherence to the BeatMove tool to meet physical activity recommendations in patients undergoing hormone therapy for breast cancer (APAMuS)&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> by <strong>Elodie Desplanche<\/strong>, Institut du Cancer de Montpellier (ICM)<\/li>\n<li><strong>ENERGY Axis<\/strong>: <strong><em>&#8220;Targeting sphingolipid metabolism to prevent breast cancer invasion promoted by overexpressed flotillins&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> by <strong>St\u00e9phane Bodin<\/strong>, Centre de Recherche en Biologie cellulaire de Montpellier (CRBM)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n          <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n          <\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":102,"featured_media":26745,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[39],"tags":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.8 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Call for Projects: GEFLUC Occitanie &amp;
