Giacomo Cavalli, winner of the 2020 Grand Prize of the Medical Research Foundation

The Medical Research Foundation Awards support and reward some of the greatest talents in French research each year.
The Grand Prize, worth €120,000, is awarded every year. It recognizes an internationally renowned personality from the scientific world for his or her exceptional contribution to the advancement of scientific knowledge in the medical field. The winner of the Grand Prix is designated by a jury composed of the members of the Research Committee and the President of the Scientific Council of the Medical Research Foundation.
This year’s winner of the Grand Prix 2020 is Giacomo Cavalli – Director of Research at the CNRS Institute of Human Genetics, head of the “Chromatin and Cell Biology” team.
