The 2nd IGH PhD students and Postdocs Meeting (IP2M), “The life of cancer cells”, will be held in Montpellier, France, on the 12th and 13th of December 2019
This one day and a half symposium, entitled “The life of cancer cells”, is organized by a group of PhD students and Postdocs from the Institute of Human Genetics (IGH) in Montpellier (France), and follows the great success of the Young Life Scientists’ Symposium (YLS) “Genome Stability: a Lifetime Challenge”, which was organized last year.
The meeting is focused on the processes of the life of cancer cells: from its initiation, evasion of the immune system and metastasis, to the development of new treatments. We will also have an Ethics session focused on cancer research.
This meeting is organized by and for young researchers, so we strongly encourage PhD students and Postdocs to present their work in the form of oral or poster presentations. This meeting will be a great opportunity for young participants to present their work, find new research opportunities, start collaborations, and expand their networks.
